Starting a business here, step by step
Whether you have just registered at the KvK (the Dutch Chamber of Commerce) or are still deciding whether to, we help you set up the foundation properly: your bookkeeping in SnelStart, your VAT registration, your first invoice with all the required Dutch details on it. During the intake we set everything up together, in English, so nothing gets lost in translation.
And yes, you can do all of this from anywhere. We work fully digitally and by phone, wherever in the Netherlands you have ended up.

Dutch taxes, explained in plain English
The Netherlands has quarterly VAT returns (btw/omzetbelasting), an annual income tax return (inkomstenbelasting), corporate income tax for BVs (vennootschapsbelasting) and payroll taxes if you employ anyone, including yourself in your own BV. Each comes with its own deadlines, its own letters and its own surprises.
That is where we come in. You get a draft of every return first, in advance and we file nothing without your explicit approval. Receive a letter you do not understand? Forward it to us and we will tell you what it means and whether anything needs to happen. That single habit has saved our clients more stress than any tax trick ever has.

Sole trader (eenmanszaak) or BV?
If you're wondering which legal form to pick, the honest answer is: it depends on your profit, your risk and your plans. As tax advisors we walk you through the trade-offs for your situation and if a switch ever makes sense, we arrange the whole transition. Until then, we simply make sure you use every deduction and scheme you are entitled to. That tax optimisation comes standard. It is the difference between a bookkeeper and a tax advisor.
